Any passage through Central Wisconsin always includes a trip to Briq's for ice cream.
We cannot wait for a long weekend on the water to celebrate our anniversary.
We made a side trip to the Red Cabin to check out how high the river is.
Funny faces are always called for!
They look so much alike it's crazy!
One can't travel all the way to the lake and not try to catch a fish. Gabby likes to pick up worms and talk to them. She had no problem explaining to the worm that it was about to be put on a hook, which would hurt a little, and get eaten by a fish. But, that was ok.
We started out standing up for a better view of the water and the bobber.
It wasn't very long before she was tired of standing, and her flip-flops for that matter.
Seconds after casting she asks, "Mom, can I reel it in again and see if the worm is still there?"
We cast and reel it in AGAIN!
Suddenly the bobber goes down and away we go! Gabby immediately ditches the pole because the thought of having to handle a fish freaks her out. Mom had to bring it in and take it off the hook.
This is as close to a picture of her "holding" the fish she caught as Mom could get!!
