Today was Gabby's first trip to the dentist. Last time we came it was just to watch Dad's teeth being cleaned so she would know what to expect. At the end they asked her if she just wanted to sit on the chair and she freaked out.
We anticipated this visit could get interesting. We were concerned at first, because she was being a crazy girl, bouncing all over the place while Mom was getting her teeth cleaned. Excited that it was her turn, she hopped onto the chair and requested the hygenist move the head pillow down further so she could use it too. All she could focus on was the cookiedough toothpaste that was promised. We really just wanted to get her to sit in the chair and maybe have her teeth counted this time. However, since she was so agreeable the hygenist took her through the paces. No problems what so ever with having her teeth cleaned, flossed, and polished. Not even a flinch when she had to close her mouth over the straw to suck out the water. What a brave girl!
